For the Berkeley computer vision retreat, I made a little presentation outlining my case for using ideas in sequential decision making in object detection. It is meant partly to start conversation on the subject, and partly to summarize four interesting papers in this vein. Some notable things are omitted, such as region-based proposal approaches.
